We are slowly putting our sites back together in a way that will pass the censor's review. We will only have two sites in the future. This site, houseofdesade.com will become the main site, and will incorporate what used to be realbdsm.com and houseofdesade.org after they are modified in a way that will keep the censors happy.
The other site, grandpadesade.com will be modified and remain under the grandpadesade.com domain name.
We are slowly rebuilding this site in a way that the censors will accept. click on this link if you wish to Enter this site. Please remember, that it is still under reconstruction.
We created 4 sites, House of DeSade.com, House of DeSade.org, realBDSM.com and GrandpaDeSade.com. The 2 House of DeSade's were educational BDSM sites that taught about some play, safety, training, basically gave information to those who were new to the scene and to those with experienced. We were VERY lucky that so many kind folks allowed us to display their articles and stories. RealBDSM was about us, our lives together as a couple into the lifestyle and Grandpadesade site was about the fun side of Grandpa DeSade. I worked hard over several years to create these sites. I was really proud of House of De Sade about all the teachings we had, to lose this really hurts. To me there was no porno. Also, we did not receive any money, in fact I have never made a single cent from the lifestyle. We did not have anything about kids, dead bodies, beasts or other such things. There was nudity and there were codes to prevent kids from viewing the material and we signed up for the major child protection programs porn blocking programs like Net Nanny, Cyberpatrol, CyberSitter, SafeSurf, SurfWatch, ASACP, and ICRA. These sites were about education, answering questions, and just fun. Now they are gone and you ask why. Well, it seems anything to do with S & M is thought of as porno by the Bush dictatorship. We can not afford to fight this. So we decided to just close them. Until the US comes back to it's senses, and stops these holier then thou folks, we will stay dark. Thank you for all your support!

"I have always been among those who believed that
the greatest freedom of speech was the greatest safety, because if a man is a
fool the best thing to do is to encourage him to advertise the fact by
speaking."
-US President

"Free speech carries with it

-US Chief Justice Warren E. Burger
"We are not afraid to entrust the American people
with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive
values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and
falsehood in an open market is afraid of its people."
- US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy
"Free speech is intended to protect the
controversial and even outrageous word; and not just comforting platitudes too
mundane to need protection."
- US Secretary of State Colin Powell
"If the fires of freedom and civil liberties burn
low in other lands, they must be made brighter in our own. If in other lands the
press and books and literature of all kinds are censored, we must redouble our
efforts here to keep them free."
- US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt
"Free speech, exercised both individually and
through a free press, is a necessity in any country where people are themselves
free."
- US President Theodore Roosevelt
"There is no more fundamental axiom of American
freedom than the familiar statement: In a free country we punish men for crimes
they commit but never for the opinions they have."

Gonzales calls for mandatory Web labeling law 20 Apr 2006 Web site operators posting sexually explicit information must place official government warning labels on their pages or risk being imprisoned for up to five years, the Bush administration proposed Thursday... Attorney General Alberto Gonzales also warned that Internet service providers must begin to retain records of their customers' activities to aid in future criminal prosecutions and indicated that legislation might be necessary there as well.
Congress may consider mandatory ISP snooping 28 Apr 2006 Last week, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales gave a speech saying that data retention by Internet service providers is an "issue that must be addressed." Now, a member of the Congressional Internet Caucus is preparing to introduce an amendment--perhaps during a U.S. House of Representatives floor vote next week--that would make such data deletion illegal. Colorado Rep. Diana DeGette's (D) proposal says that any Internet service that "enables users to access content" must permanently retain records that would permit police to identify each user.
